"ANGEL OF THE GRAIL" TOTE BAG was created from an original painting by Courtney Davis. The pagan Celts believed that hospitality extended to another was an act of almost religious significance. Their early art often depicts them extending a friendship cup or cup of plenty to be shared with friends and strangers alike. In later legends, these cups were replaced in importance by the Grail Cup which had once held the blood of Christ. Here the mystical vessel is carried by a heavenly messenger. The bag is 17"x19" with a velcro closure. Made in the U.S.A. of 100% pre-shrunk cotton, it is machine washable. The design is on one side only. Packaged with artist/design information.
