"BATTLE OF THE ANCIENTS" COVERLET was created from an original painting by Courtney Davis. Just as these ancient dragons are entwined with each other, so the powerful symbol of the dragon is entwined through the folklore of many world cultures. To the early Celts, the dragon represented power and sovreignty. Their word for "chieftain" was the word "pendragon". The coverlet is approximately 50"x60" with fringe on all four sides. Triple-woven in the U.S.A. of 100% cotton. Machine washable, pre-shrunk and color-fast. Packaged with artist/design information.
