Product Details
This BOVRIL GOLFER S. GEORGIAN PITCHER was created in England by Diamond Print Ceramics under license from Unilever. In 1870, Napoleon requested one million cans of beef be made up to supply his troops in the war against the Prussians. The task was given to Scotsman John Lawson Johnston who created "Johnston's Fluid Beef" to make up for the lack of enough actual cattle to meet the need. By 1888, Bovril was being sold in shops. In 1889, Johnston formed the Bovril Company. This product is still available today. Dishwasher safe. 3 PITCHERS AVAILABLE.
