This CELTIC SKULL ORNAMENT was laser cut from an original art work by Courtney Davis. It measures 3.50" in diameter. Hang chain is made up of Swarovski crystals. Best hung away from direct sunlight. (The start of each season in the Celtic calendar was celebrated with a major festival. The Celtic new year was celebrated on the eve of November 1st with Samhain, the Feast of the Dead, marking the beginning of winter. The Druids believed that on this night the Lord of Death gathered evil souls. This celebration eventually turned into what we call Halloween. Our tradition of carving pumpkins came from the Celtic practice of placing skulls on poles around their encampments in order to drive away these evil spirits.) Packaged. ONE AVAILABLE.
