"DOVES OF PEACE MANDALA" PEWTER PENDANT NECKLACE was designed by Courtney Davis. Over the centuries, various cultures have believed that at death the soul turns into a dove. For Christians, the symbolism of the dove is represented by the appearance of the bird at Christ's baptism. In an earlier story from the Book of Genesis, the dove appears as a symbol of safety and peace when it returns to the besieged ark after the world flood.
