Shipping Costs:
We do not charge any handling fees or anything beyond the actual cost of shipping your package. As a rule, we ship via United Parcel Service ground service and all charges are based on the weight of the items you have ordered. Expedited shipping times are possible by your stating your preference when you check out of the shopping cart on our site.
Availability of Items:
Please be aware that many of the items we have on our site are one-of-a-kind pieces. They are almost all handcrafted and some are in limited quantities. It does not happen often but it is possible that items may be temporarily out of stock. Shipment in from Europe can entail 2-4 weeks so we cannot promise that all orders will be filled immediately. If the items are in stock here, your order will be shipped within 2-3 business days. In any other event, you will be notified by phone or e-mail what we estimate the delay time to be.
Damaged or Missing Items:
All items are inspected at the time of placement into U.S. inventory. Should you have a problem with damage in transit to you from The Best of Europe, please call or e-mail us immediately. Keep the box and damaged goods until we are able to ascertain whether or not a claim needs to be made to UPS.
Returns:
Should you want to return an item for any reason, please call us at 860/526-8420 within one week of receiving your order. A determination will be made at that time how the return and/or any refund or credit will be handled. |
