FILIGREE SILVER BRACELET #1 was handcrafted in Spain. Between the jagged Sierra Morena and the ocean lies Spain's southern region of Andalucia. The ancient lost kingdom of Tartessos (the "Tarshish" mentioned in the Bible for its fabulous treasure troves of silver) once thrived here due to rich ore deposits found in the Sierra Nevada. This piece comes from the master craftsmen of Cordoba who inherited the legacy of filigree work. The style of the work reflects the Arte Mudejar style originally brought to Spain by the Moors. The bracelet measures 7.75" long and is 1" wide. It contains more pure silver than .925 sterling and has a silver/white appearance. As with all silver, it will eventually tarnish but it can be easily polished with silver dip. Comes with a story card. FOURTEEN AVAILABLE.
