FRIENDSHIP CUP NOTECARD was created in Scotland from an original painting by Courtney Davis. Inside of the 5" square card is blank. Comes packaged with envelope. Story of design on back of card. (The pagan Celts believed that hospitality had an almost religious significance. The cauldron was a symbol of this quality. Its place in Celtic mythology also connects with fertility, immortality and journeys into the Celtic Underworld. In later times, it found representation in the great grail legends.)
