Art Deco Blue Enamel Square Bottom Earrings

 Product Description

ART DECO BLUE ENAMEL SQUARE BOTTOM EARRINGS were created in Holland by G.L. Nederland. This company started in 1825 and was known for its handcrafted sterling silver work done for aristocrats throughout Europe and items made for the Dutch royal family. G.L. Nederland produced over 30,000 original handcrafted jewelry masters during the Victorian, Art Deco and Art Nouveau periods. These Art Deco earrings were originally designed between 1920 and 1939. The jewelry of this period was influenced by many types of design work such as that seen in Egypt, the Orient and tribal Africa with many shapes used being geometric ones. One of the jewelry masters of this time period was the well-known Cartier. Earrings measure .2.00" long x .75" wide. ONE PAIR AVAILABLE.
