MOON GODDESS OPEN EDITION GICLEE PRINT is from an original acrylic on canvas painting (30" x 24") done by Josephine Wall in 1995. The print is 14" high x 11" wide, unmatted, with linen liner. The term "giclee" is derived from the French "to spatter". Tiny drops of ink are sprayed at very high speed onto paper or canvas to create high intensity color and detail. "Draped in her shimmering veil of stars, the Goddess Selene tenderly guides the moon on its celestial journey while keeping watch over the night-bathed earth.
