ST. PATRICK'S CROSS NOTECARD was created in Scotland from an original painting by Courtney Davis. Inside of the 5" square card is blank. Comes packaged with envelope. Story of design on back of card. (In St. Patrick's mission to bring Christianity to the early Irish people, he incorporated much of the spirituality of the pre-Christian Celtic traditions. This included such things as baptising holy wells, a belief in the after-life and placing emphasis on humanity's oneness with nature. Even the most famous symbol of Celtic art, the Celtic cross, became a combination of old and new by incorporating the symbol of the divine sun wheel.)
