"THE NIGHT MARE" PEWTER PENDANT NECKLACE was designed by Courtney Davis. The horse, often worshipped as The White Mare, played an important part in both the religious and secular lives of the Celts. Called Epona by the Celts, the horse goddess in her darker aspect was revered as The Night Mare. It was thought that she rode through dreams at night rousing Underworld shadows that would then frighten and wake dreamers from their dreams. The lead-free pewter pendant is on a 30" leather cord. Packaged with artist/design information. Made in U.S.A.
